Building a house in Ghana, suggestions please!!!

Postby Amoako » Sat Jan 17, 2009 10:32 am

I have a land in Ghana and am thinking of building a house on it. Can you give me a rough idea of the expenses it's going to take? The house should be a three bedroom house of approximately 100-150 m².
Also needed: Good architect, construction company, workers, water, electricity etc...

Thanks in advance!

Exactly...I believe its bettter to buy now than to build from scratch.
But then again, you gotta look at cost/benefits to build/buy.

Amo, its really up to you. People build houses because they want the house to look like something they've dreamed of. Looking at the way your talking Good architect and the rest, I say you are probably money ready.
Its all up to you

Is building a house rather more expensive than to buy one?

If you are building one, please build it quickly. Don't become one of the many "uncompleted" which are littering Ghana.
