Another Death Rocks Ghana Fa As Owusu-ansah Dies

Ghana FA Executive Committee member Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah is dead

Ghana Football Association Executive Committee member Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah died on Friday morning in Accra.

His death comes just eight days after Ghana FA vice president Jordan Anagblah gave up the fight against illness.

This is the third major figure to die in Ghana football in nine months following the death of Sly Tetteh in September.

The Asante Kotoko board member Owusu-Ansah passed away at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

The Member of Parliament for Kwabre West constituency collapsed on Thursday and was rushed to the Achimota Hospital where he was resuscitated.

An ambulance was called from Parliament which conveyed him to the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital from where he was referred to the Adabraka Polyclinic for an MRI scan.

His condition appeared stable but he passed away at at about 5am today.

Owusu-Ansah was a former vice-president of the Ghana Football Association

RIP! Knew this man way back in the mid 90's, Adum-Kumasi. Very good soul. Had this huge building around the 'Asanteman Laundries' - Prisons, Kumasi.

Ma folks were on good terms wif him. Never knew he went on to become a MP... :(

The Porcupine(Kotoko) clan get serious funeral... Where b coach Prekese and co? :P

or just coincidence and we shouldn't read too much into these untimely deaths within our FA?

That is the scary thing about Ghana.. A lot of people walk around with high blood pressure they are noto even aware of.. One day they just drop.. God have mercy.. Our diet oh!!

high cholesterol
no screening for our women
just to name a few
all backed with zero awareness among our people
they eat / drink like there is no tomorrow
it's a miracle our life expectancy is even 60

It would be a plausible opinion if this type of death isn't all too common in Ghana. I don't think all the other people are also succumbing to the so called agbala. This is a personal health situation and the healthcare system doesn't help....

Abowa, I am sure ibe agbala make those people nearly shoot your wife too. Kwasea man!! Somebody just lost a relative and this is all the nonsense you could spew?
