Are you an illegal immigrant?

Postby kebashorificatious on Mon Jun 04, 2012 10:34 am

Are you an illegal immigrant or have you intentionally broken immigration laws before?

Yes or No?

I broke immigration laws last year, entering Sri Lanka without Visa and the knowledge of the authorities. I arrived on a boat  (not Lampedusa style).

I overstayed in Ghana some time ago (unintentional), but the immigration officer at the airport departure area was cool with it since I was only a single day late. He did not even ask for bribe.

Sri Lanka? are you nuts?? Some Ghanaians are just so dumb and want to travel for the sake of traveling. There are opportunities in Ghana which don't necessitate living illegally in someone elses country.

I just wanted to buy some beer, food & diesel. So I spent like 1-2 hrs on the land with the help of some nice fishermen. But it was quite difficult since I had to change Dollars, and the bank people wanted to see my passport...
