relax. remember netherlands whooping us 4nil before cup, and us beating Latvia 1nil? BEFORE tournaments players go easy so they don't get injured.

Yes, these games don't matter but, the results will cause the media to pound the team and potentially kill confidence.

You cannot compare the 2. If we had beaten Holland and they had still gone on to be WC finalists, then maybe u would have had a chance. We werent supposed to beat Holland. France are NOT supposed to lose to a team like Iceland. Hell even our own journos would start raising hell if we lost to Iceland in a pre-tourney warmup.

still disagree, man. im arguing the score line isn't surprising considering that the team heading into the euro's might be taking it "lightly" to prevent any serious injuries. if it really counted, the score line wouldn't be like that. remember we played our bench vs. holland and failed miserably, but still went on to have a decent WC. didn't we play a draw or a 1nil win against a local south African team before heading for the African cup? main idea here is: these pre- tourney games don't mean anything. our journos talk sh1t year round from politics - football. nothing new here

France may have found its starting line up for the tournament.

They could be the exciting team of the tournament.
