Gyan joins Al-Ain permanently

Postby Empire of Victory on Thu May 24, 2012 6:08 pm

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has reached an agreement to sign a permanent deal to stay with UAE side Al Ain, the coach of the club has revealed.

The Al Ain boss Cosmin Olaroiu claims Gyan will be at the club next season which means he has agreed a deal to leave Sunderland.

Gyan was on a season-long loan deal from the English side but Al Ain were keen on holding on to the Ghana international after he massively impressed.

Olaroiu has now revealed that Gyan has reached a deal which means he will quit Sunderland.

“From what I know, Asamoah will continue with Al Ain next season,” Olaroiou.

Ghana star Gyan scored 20 league goals in just 17 games.

He's 26 and can play 10 more years. At 16 million dollars a year in 10 years he would have made 160 million dollars. By then the league there will be respectable. I see this as a win win.

Asamoah Gyan is NOT 30, his real age is 28 and football age is 27. He was in form 1 in Accra Aca in 2000 at age 16 and i know that for a fact because a friend of mine who is still a teacher in that school taught Gyan and i managed to convince him to pull his record from the school archives in 2009.
