Kwesi Appiah back home

Postby Empire of Victory » Wed May 16, 2012 5:39 am

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has returned home after a visit to some Ghanaian players abroad.

The ex-Black Stars captain was in UAE to hold talks with Al Ain striker Asamoah Gyan-who took an indefinite break from international football in February.

He then head to France and checked on trio Andre Ayew, Jonathan Mensah and John Mensah who are recovering from injuries.

Appiah met AC Milan ace Kevin-Prince Boateng on a possible return to international football after quitting in November 2010.

The former Asante Kotoko player must now name a squad to play Lesotho at home on June 1 and Zambia eight days later in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Source: MTNfootball.com
