Harry Zakkour heads Hearts of Oak's recruitment team

Hearts of Oak board member Harry Zakkour will head the club’s six-man recruitment committee for next season.

Zakkour, a former Chief Executive, has been tasked to revamp the squad next term and improve last season’s 5th place slot on the league table.

Other members include Frank Nelson, Ernest Thompson, Alhaji Fawaz Zowk, Chief Executive Fred Crenstil and head coach Nebojsa Vucicevic.

Zakkour told the club’s official newspaper: “Our target is to look out for the best and I promise we will live to the bill to transform Hearts next season.”

Hearts finished 14 points behind leaders Berekum Chelsea.

Caution ... I hope the foolishness of randomly recruiting players several players should cease. The current team needs improvement in specific areas and that should be focus. I am obviously not the standing coach, but my view is if we can keep the current squad, we only need a few players in specific areas - most importantly in attack !!
