my point exactly I have every problem with the law as passed by the NDC govt. too bad they only realized it was immoral when Jake took advantage of it but saw nothing wrong when John Mahama, Nana Kunadu and others took advantage of itkeen observer wrote:pass a law to prohibit transactions like this one...This was very stupid on the part of the NPP government and constitute a breach of public trust!! Shame shame shame!!!

KO the NPP did not buy government property. Jake as a private citizen decided to by it. mind you he was not in government then. The NPP cannot prevent a citizen fro exercising his rights under the laws of Ghana. There are a number of people including Nana Addo who even declined purchase of government lands when offered to them on principle and not legality. Some of us spoke out against the diversity of state property when the PNDC started it because of the many loop holes in the law. Did you know that jake applied for more than one property which he lost the rest to a Chinese company because they out bid him. Will we have felt better if those Chinese had also won this bungalow?keen observer wrote:Dr Vyrus wrote:my point exactly I have every problem with the law as passed by the NDC govt. too bad they only realized it was immoral when Jake took advantage of it but saw nothing wrong when John Mahama, Nana Kunadu and others took advantage of itkeen observer wrote:pass a law to prohibit transactions like this one...This was very stupid on the part of the NPP government and constitute a breach of public trust!! But that is where you people should hold your party accountable. If you see them doing something wrong, you stop it, you protest. You don't sit around and say that it is legal so they should do it. You pressure them to change the laws. Ghana belongs to all of us, not to any particular party. What the NPP did in this transaction was not in the interest of Ghana and they should bow down their heads in shame.

Dr Vyrus wrote:KO do not get me wrong. I know Jake would not have even had the guts to bid for it if he was in not part of the set up same way David Annan would never have seen the door to the Ghana law school if he was not the son of a respected Justice. Unfortunately I had to restrict my argument to the law as that was what the plaintiff sort to achieve. the supreme court did not rule on ethics CHRAJ does does neither do they rule on morality they will have to go to church to get that. In my personal opinion Jake should not have bought the land period but that is only my opinion.

He's just a greedy opportunist with $400,000 to invest. The offer was just too good for him, he failed to consider the political repercussions and your PARTY aided and goaded him on, instead of advising him correctly. Says a lot about your bunch doesn't it?

Same stupidity?Precisely what is this other stupidity you claim I've been defending? If it's Woyome, then no! I've found that abhorrent and made it known. So you STFU, as clearly you know not what you're talking about other than being the perpetual ineffectual antagonist! Good day!

Amidu is not helping the discussion with his half baked full of holes statements . He should either sing or shut up. How he expects non executive interference on his job as the AG still beats me.Oseadeeyo Yaw Temeng wrote:do you disagree with him?Dr Vyrus wrote:Amidu Paa
