Anthony Yeboah must apologize!

Postby Pope Allotey » Fri Apr 27, 2012 8:29 pm

The bashing he received on some FM stations today was completely amazing. Yeboah mus give praise where it is due. His comments towards Emmanuel Baffour was in bad taste. He must do the honorable and apologize. Shouts out to Turbo, Afadi, Namreeko, Kwakwe, El-Padrino and all dem brothers. Cheers.

I don't agree with what he said one bit, but then apologize for what?! For having an opinion?! He did'nt insult the man? With this argument, Charles Barkley will be apologizing everyday in Yankee.
Having said that, I don't know about the 'off side goals' part of what he said though.

Nonsense.

From what I saw in Philly, Baffour is nothing to hype.

KPOM! Apologise for expressing his opinions? The guy has seen and done it all and he has earned the right to separate the wheat from the chaff.

The last time folks jumped on the Isaac Boakye bandwagon, where did it end? The dude didn't even cast aspersions or abuse Boaffour. All he said was in good faith... advising folks to lay off a bit and also pointing out that the baller is not all that in the first place.

Shove the apology 'thingy'...

Let us take it this way. You know yourself to be hardworking in school who takes assignment seriously. You are so good that people have been calling on your school authorities to recognize your talent and reward with a promotion to the next grade. Then an old professor comes along. He tells everybody to chill with the praises because you are still young and must not be rushed He then goes further to make the assertion that you are not all that brilliant, that your grades have been massaged by your lecturers to your advantage and that you had help from your tutors during every examination. From a close look of it, the Professor's first advice in the first instance is acceptable but where is it distasteful is highlighted part. Everybody will like to be appreciated for his achievements. Having someone downplay your talent is painful and more so when he tries to question your talent and allude to fraud from other people that has pushed you to be where you are. Tony Yeboah has no evidence that Referees have aided some of Emmanuel Baffour's goals in the premiership. This is the part where i am calling for his apology. Simple.[/b]

He still owes no one any apology for expressing his opinion...and Baffour need not break a bone to prove anything to anyone

   Well, you forgot Tony used the conjecture, 'SOME of his goals', which denotes that not all his goals were aided by dodgy officiating.

Thus, your highlighted analogy which didn't include the word "some" is non-correlational(sic) to Tony's assertions. Tony didn't explicitly state that those goals were aided by the officials consciously. But i get where you're coming from tho'.
