BREAKING NEWS: ARTURO GATTI DEAD.

Postby Hassim » Sat Jul 11, 2009 11:27 pm

According to unconfirmed stories filtering out of Brazil, former Junior-welterweight fighter Arturo Gatti who gave us an unforgettable trilogy with "Irish" Mickey Ward has been found dead in a hotel room somewhere in Brazil.

Details are sketchy at this point, but apparently there were no gun-shot or knife wounds.

Shieee!!!! what on earth is going on? It was barely one week ago that Alexis Arguello was also found dead, in his case from an apparent self-inflicted gun shot wound.

Na him; Montreal kid fighting out of New Jersey. Watching him fight, you always wondered whether he was human like the rest of us, but alas death has proved that he is indeed mortal.

Some are saying that he died from blunt force to the back of the head, and that his wife is now a suspect because her accounts of events did not tally, but a lot of these are unconfirmed at this point.

What is confirmed is that he was on his honeymoon, and that he was in Brazil with his wife and infant child.
