Pastor Joshua - Brain Behind U-20 Victory or Fraud?
NEW. Watch live television from Ghana, the latest Ghanaian movies and OBE TV.
Prophet T.B. Joshua, the Nigerian ‘Man Of God’ with close links to President John Evans Atta Mills, has flaunted his role in the satellites’ triumphant, declaring that he is the brain behind the victory of the newly crowned World Under 20 champions.
With President John Evans Atta Mils already acknowledging his role as the power behind the throne, Prophet T. B. Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has himself revealed his own side of the story.
President Mills’ spiritual father, apparently playing God, divulged to Complete Sports, a Lagos-based sporting newspaper in an interview at the church premises on Saturday that Ghana’s President, Professor Atta Mills, and the Black Satellites coach, Sellas Tetteh, were constantly in touch with him on Friday morning (match day) for prayers and counseling.
According to him, ‘Mr. President and the coach were constantly in touch with me on the morning of the match. We talked severally before, during and after the match, I told them that they should remain focused on the tasked ahead of them, with a special warning that they should not hustle to score a goal in regulation time.
I warned that if they should look for goals, they would end up losing the game. “They called me again at half time and I repeated the same thing. This time around, I specifically told them not to rush things as the match will be settled after extra time. That means after 15 minutes of two halves. “When the penalty kicks were about to start, they called me again to ask how it will go.
I just told the coach that he should allow his number 10 (Andre Ayew) to take the first kick and they will end up to winning the game. “They took my advise and everything went favourably well at the end of the day, and we are all celebrating this great feat by our African brothers.” It would be recalled that the revered man of God had predicted correctly, matches involving the Super Eagles recently. On the list are the matches between Ghana and Nigeria at the Nations Cup in 2008, Nigeria versus Tunisia and the crunch tie between the Super Eagles and Mambas of Mozambique. |

"We have to thank God for our victory. People of all faiths contributed because all the religions contributed becasue they all prayed to God,"
"I am a Muslim so me and the other Muslim players and even the technical staff also prayed and recited the Qur'an.
"Like my Christian colleagues and people of other faiths we all prayed to God for victory. So all the glory is to God."
-Dede Ayew(Team Captain)
l know Dede Ayew to be a good player.Leading his team to lift the under 20 world cup clearly shows he is a good leader.
What he said above shows he is a grateful and humble person.l think he is a shining example.
We do our very best in life and leave the rest to Spirit.ln success or defeat,we must remember to give thanks to God.

charley the situation in Ghana regarding the miracles/prayers/church thing no be small......
this joshua prediction na small things
Ghana dey different level koraa....my big bro just came back from Ghana and the stories he brought regarding the church/prayers/miracles thing especially in kumasi na nigeria movie .... if u have a pastor who can pray and a fire ball descends from the heavens to glorify God, masa what do u expect the masses to do.......
wasn't there a youtube video documenting the church and prayer situation in Ghana....., members go for prayers and sermons everyday of the week...... and also pastors these days in Ghana are becoming the elite in terms of economic status.......them get money rough rough i guess God has richly blessed them .... now we are waiting for the blessings to trickle down to the members ....
anyways to each his own |

“I’ll Reveal Things That Will Shock Christians If...”
While many Ghanaians hold some very strong views about the genuineness and spirituality of some Ghanaian men of God, the boldest and public announcement daring our pastors, bishops, apostles, overseers, archbishops, founders, international evangelists etc has come from a former Administrative Manager of the Ghana Pentecostal Council, John Nana Antoh.
“Let those who live in glass houses refrain from throwing stones. I want the men of God in Ghana who keep on insulting T.B Joshua to remember that I, John Nana Antoh was the administrative manager of Ghana Pentecostal Council for ten good years. In that position, I got to know many secrets and so I know my generation of men of God very well. I know the good, the bad, the worse and the worst at my finger tips” he warned.
Obviously enraged at the public criticism and defamation of the character and personality of Nigerian pastor, T.B Joshua, Mr. Antoh in an article, first published by the Ghanaian Times, warned that he will be forced to expose and reveal the ungodly behavior and activities of some of our men of God, many Ghanaians will be shocked.
“If those Pastors do not stop attacking T.B Joshua, I will reveal things that will shock Christians in this nation. I will expose those whose wives were going to divorce them, unless they broke certain ungodly relationships” he warned. Making particular reference to Bishop Matthew Addae Mensah who described T.B Joshua as a conman, Mr. Antoh who said he was in the Church of Pentecost with Addae Mensah wrote: “For example, I know the detailed reason why Bishop Mathew Addaw Mensah left the Church of Pentecost and started his own church. Let the so called men of God who keep attacking T.B Joshua be warned. If they do not stop, I will be compelled to descend into the gutters with them, so that we can wash our dirty linens very very well in public.

Kwame, The victory was achieved through the skill of these young players, Period! They deserve all the credit. No God. No Bull. No Kankan Nyame gave us this victory. I am willing to change my position if you can prove that Yahweh or Allah deserves any credit for this victory. |

This is one of the reasons why I do my best to stay away from mentioning the word God. I'm not speaking for Kwame but I don't think is talking Yahweh. This is why the mention of GOD is misunderstood. The moment GOD is mentioned, automatically our minds think of Jehovah, the bad tempered Jewish god. GOD is deeper than that. Anyway Kwame will explain what he meant by the mention of GOD. |

l believe in God.l'm grateful for all the blessings in my life.l cannot prove this to you.You have to do this yourself.
You did raise a very good point though.Am l right in saying you do not believe in God or that God has no hand in human affairs?
This is ok if that what you believe. You may have justification for holding that view.lt still doesn't matter if you hold such belief even without justification.lts entirely up to you.
Who cares if it takes u a 1000 years or lifetimes to come to an understanding of God's existence or nonexistence.
The players and their coach believed God had a hand in their victory. They too may have strong reasons for doing so.Not being able to prove their belief doesn't negate it.
l think l'm going rund in circles here(l feel kindna dizzy)
My point is simple. You r entitled to ur belief. This should be extended to the next person.

Gravity will continue to make apples fall to the ground whether we believe in gravity or not. God will continue to be god. God does what god does without human input or influence or belief.
If I stand on the tallest hill and proclaim that I believe in gravity, it neither makes gravity better or stronger. Above all it does not make me a better human being.
Enough already! Despite what U-20 squad and their ignorant coach say, the victory was based upon skill. That is why they put in those long hours of training.
I'll give you a chance to prove me wrong. You can select an untrained and unskilled soccer team from your Eckist group in London to play against the Brazillian national team.
I am not holding my breath, however, it is my hope that the long winding road you have begun will lead you to a state of godlessness. |

Hi Opiamensa,
Why are you trying to drag me into this TB Joshua and U-20 squad saga?

, Kwame paa. Don't run away from Opia. He got the wrong impression about you and this god. You need to explain things succinctly to him. |

Relax Kwame. I am not trying to drag you into anything that you have not dragged yourself into. I get you, bro.
It is just that you still think there is something out there although you may have kissed X'ianity goodbye. We are all on that long winding road to godlessness. I hope to see you there when I get there.
And then again I am not holding my breath |
