Description: Franczek Radelet P.C. stands among the premier labor, employment and education boutiques in the country. With approximately 50 attorneys, we are also one of the largest concentrations of attorneys in the entire Midwest (and, indeed, the country) focusing on these areas of the law.
Our practice is focused and clearly defined. We represent management in all aspects of labor and employment law and employee benefits matters in both the private and public sectors. We also represent educational institutions in all aspects of education law. We do not aspire to expand our practice beyond those areas, because we strongly believe that
maintaining our focus is the best way to continue to deliver our unique blend of extraordinary client service and value. Our clients include Fortune 100 companies and some of the largest public sector entities in the United States as well as many small-tomedium size businesses and educational institutions.
The Director of Marketing and Business Development will direct the firm’s marketing efforts so as to enhance the firm’s reputation as a premier labor and employment, education, and employee benefits law firm, and partner with practice team leaders in creating strategic plans to drive the business development and marketing goals of the firm’s practice groups. The Director of Marketing is a full-time position and will report
to the Managing Partner. The salary and benefits for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops, recommends, and implements marketing and business development strategies and tactics to achieve the identified goals and objectives.
Anticipates client needs and trends and develops responsive solutions to support practice groups and individual attorneys.
Works with partners in all practice groups to seek out cross selling opportunities
and develop and execute related initiatives.
Works with practice groups and attorneys to identify, evaluate, and pursue speaking, publication, and sponsorship opportunities.
Plans, coordinates, and implements client seminars and firm-sponsored events.
Spearheads and manages all aspects of the firm’s branding strategies.
Develops and implements the firm’s electronic marketing strategies, including but not limited to e-mail bulletins, website, webcasts, and social media.
Produces Web site content in connection with brand development.

Identifies and assists the firm in pursuing opportunities for positive media exposure, including but not limited to drafting press releases, promotional letters and targeted marketing pieces. Requirements:
College degree with at least 7 years experience in marketing or business development function of a professional services firm, or comparable experience. Law firm experience is a plus, but not required.
Strong professional writing, proofreading and editing skills. (Writing sample required.)
Must communicate effectively and coordinate efforts across all levels of
management, attorneys, and staff.
Able to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects, establish goals and objectives, and meet internal and external deadlines.
Understands how to implement and leverage electronic communications, including web and social media.
Able to work effectively with a large and diverse group of attorneys and support staff.
Proficient with Web site management tools, Microsoft office suite software.

That is the problem with many companies.... They give new grads hard time. I will advice that, you try to get promotion from within your current company upon completion of school before moving to another company. |
